Dermaplaning is an exfoliating treatment using a medical-grade blade to remove all dead skin cells and vellus hair (peach fuzz) from the top layer of the face. Contraindications are as follows: Inflamed acne, open wounds, an allergy to nickel (blade handle) and current use of Accutane or Retinol.
